The country is in the <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.migrateworld.com\/bulgarias-real-estate-boom\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">midst of a real estate boom<\/a> particularly when it comes to foreign investors. And if this year\u2019s tourism numbers are any indication, the buzz is only going to continue to increase about this charming Balkan nation.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, more than eight million visitors\u2014more than the country\u2019s population\u2014travelled to Bulgaria, and for 2017, numbers are expected to surpass the nine million mark. During the summer season alone, 5.3 million visitors came to explore the sun-drenched coastline, dramatic scenery, and <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.migrateworld.com\/bulgaria-from-snow-to-surf\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cultural attractions this country has to offer<\/a>. This represents a 6% increase in visitors over last year, with the majority of visitors are from countries like Germany, Romania, Greece, and Russia.<\/p>\n<p>And even though summer is over, tourism activity is showing no signs of slowing down. With the busy holiday season quickly approaching, many top hotels are already fully booked from December through to January. What accommodations are left tend to be in smaller centres or further away from the country\u2019s more popular sites. While that\u2019s good news for hotel owners, it can cause headaches for travellers looking to experience Bulgaria.<\/p>\n<p>But with everything from soaring mountains, to contemporary art and culture in the capital <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.migrateworld.com\/spotlight-on-sofia-bulgaria\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sofia<\/a>, to sun, sand, and surf on the coastline, it\u2019s no surprise word is getting out. A stable and growing economy doesn\u2019t hurt either.
