Not to mention a<br \/>\nfew options for those looking for a more low-key experience, too.<br \/>\nOn New Year\u2019s Eve, many Dominicans will kick off the night by attending church. But once the<br \/>\nservice is over, it\u2019s time for celebrating and dancing\u2014lots and lots of dancing. Many of the major<br \/>\ncelebrations happen in and around the capital, Roseau with clubs and hotels holding traditional<br \/>\ncelebrations with DJs and\/or live music. Because this is an island nation, there are also<br \/>\nopportunities to take the celebrations to the water on various booze cruises and party boats.<br \/>\nBut for something different, instead of sipping Champagne, why not swim in it? Or at least warm<br \/>\ntropical water that resembles the tiny bubbles of the popular drink. Champagne Reef\u2014so called<br \/>\nfor the millions of tiny bubbles that emerge from the ocean floor\u2014is a must see for divers and<br \/>\nsnorkelers of all ages and abilities.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.migrateworld.com\/en\/program\/citizenship-by-investment\/st-lucia\/\"><strong>St. Lucia<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In St. Lucia, it\u2019s not uncommon to keep the New Year\u2019s Eve celebrations going well until the sun<br \/>\nhas come up on New Year\u2019s Day. St. Lucians know how to have a good time and this festive<br \/>\nspirit is on full display to ring in the new year.<br \/>\nRodney Bay is the most popular area to spend the evening with a wide selection of restaurants<br \/>\nas well as clubs and bars. You can expect to find live music as well as DJs, dancing and drinks,<br \/>\nand of course fireworks at the stroke of midnight. But every town and village\u2014regardless of<br \/>\nsize\u2014will have some form of celebration happening. Often, the party takes place right in the<br \/>\nstreet, spilling out from inside crowded clubs.<br \/>\nIn the capital city, Castries, celebrations mainly take place at Derek Walcott Square. There,<br \/>\nyou\u2019ll find plenty of loud music, food and drink stalls selling treats and tipples, as well as a<br \/>\ngeneral party atmosphere.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.migrateworld.com\/en\/program\/citizenship-by-investment\/grenada\/\"><strong>Grenada<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>New Year\u2019s Eve\u2014or Old Year\u2019s Night as its better known\u2014it a time to celebrate and also reflect<br \/>\non the year that was, and the year that\u2019s to come in Grenada.<br \/>\nGrenada has a reputation as hosting some of the liveliest New Year\u2019s Eve celebrations in the<br \/>\nentire Caribbean, a bold claim from a region of the world that likes to have a good time and<br \/>\ntakes its celebrating very seriously. Grenada is a popular boating destination, and because of<br \/>\nthat, it\u2019s no surprise that one of the biggest parties takes place at the Port Louis Marina. The all-<br \/>\ninclusive event includes several well-known Caribbean DJs, local entertainment, lots of food and<br \/>\ndrinks, and of course fireworks at the stroke of midnight.<br \/>\nFor a slightly different scene, many of the hotels and resorts that dot this lush tropical paradise<br \/>\nalso offer their own private parties.
