Tourism is the island\u2019s main industry, though spice production\u2014hence the nickname\u2014is also a major industry.<\/p>\n<p>The capital, St. George\u2019s is a picturesque Caribbean city perched along a pleasant turquoise horseshoe-shaped harbour. With a population of just over 33,000, bustling isn\u2019t exactly a word one would use to describe the city, but there is a definite pulse and charm to be found on its narrow streets.<\/p>\n<p>Visitors will find plenty of interesting shops and boutiques as well as cafes and restaurants where\u2014if you\u2019re lucky\u2014you\u2019ll hear one of the locals telling folk tales.
